About the role

We are looking for a Sales Support Officer to join the Dalby team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Our Sales Support Officers are the first person our clients communicate with when they interact with Elders. Your expert customer service skills will operate as the backbone of the branch and support the sales teams in maintaining and growing client relationships. With the backing of the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary to take clients through the end-to-end sales process across all facets of the branch including retail, livestock & financial services.

The successful candidate will be supported and mentored within the position to ensure they obtain all the skills to enjoy a fruitful career at Elders.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the branch, you will enjoy a varied day including:

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the branch team across livestock, retail, and finance operations.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented, results-driven environment to support branch objectives.
  • Manage daily reception functions, including telephone enquiries, banking, mail handling, and general administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate accounts payable activities, including expense processing and invoice management.
  • Process livestock sales transactions across multiple channels, including auctions, private sales, hooks, AuctionsPlus, and Stud platforms.
  • Support livestock sales and marketing activities across a range of digital and traditional platforms.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with organisational procedures and industry requirements.
